Hello, I'm Bob Davila, president of Gallaudet University and I would like to welcome you to the nation's only four-year liberal arts college for deaf and hard of hearing people. We are recognized as a world leader in educational programs for deaf, hard of hearing and hearing students. Here at Gallaudet, you will find students who come from across the United States as well as different nations across the globe. No other college or university provides deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing students with the academic and networking opportunities that Gallaudet does.

I encourage you to explore our website and to visit our beautiful and historic campus in the Nation's Capital. While on campus, feel free to visit the office and explore the museum area which houses artifacts from many of the previous presidents of Gallaudet University. You will find that Gallaudet is an institution that is rich in history and tradition.
