Short Bio: I live with my husband, Larry, in Colorado Springs for 4 yrs. Fell in love with the beautiful mountains...hiking, rafting, ATV/jeep climbing - you name it. Before I became a graduate student here at Gallaudet, I've been in the social work field for about 20 years. I decided to make a career change because I just want something new & different. Grew up in West TX, along with cotton fields & dust storms. Things I like to do during my free time are reading, surfing internet, doing many different crafts, and of course, hiking and camping in the mountains.

Professional Goals: Teaching at the college or university level preferred. Hopefully return back to hometown after graduation.
